1. Does TCL have a "Control Panel" or some other utility to manage my VPS? - Top

Yes, you can use the VPS Web Portal here: or download a remoteapp from here: to manage your VPS and network remotely.

2. What’s VPS? - Top

VPS is the abbreviation of Virtual Private Server.

3. Which Operating System (OS) is supported by VPS? - Top

Support various flavors of Linux OS templates such as Centos, Debian, Fedora, Ubuntu, etc. You can also use Windows 2008/2012 Server OS on Pro and Corp plans but license not included.

4. What are the system requirements to use the VPS Web Portal? - Top

The platform can be accessible from any web browser (Firefox 3.x or later, Internet Explorer 8.x or later, Safari 5 or later or Chrome 4.x or later), however if you want to connect to your (VPS) server's console via web browser than, make sure ActiveX is supported by your web browser. Otherwise, please use "INTERNET EXPLORER" for your convenient.

Alternatively, please download the RemoteApp from for managing and connect to your (VPS) Server’s console remotely.

5. Can I change my password provided from TCL? - Top

Yes you can, Use then click on "Click Here to reset your password". Or, Click here to access directly.

6. I see only “Loading….” Or “Cannot connect: TypeError: undefined is not a function” when connecting to my console via web portal? - Top

Please make sure your web browser is supporting ActiveX. Otherwise, please use Internet Explorer for that purpose.

7. I try to open the admin console and it is giving "Page cannot be displayed" error in browser: Virtual Machine Manager failed to connect to the virtual machine because the hostname ( could not be resolved by Domain Name System? - Top

This host address is hidden from the Internet, which is why no DNS can resolve it. Please contact TCL Support team at for more info.

Please note, once you received the hosts address, please enter it manually to your computer's host file and then save, before you could able to connect to the console via the web portal.

8. What’s the Administrator/Root password for the Pre-Installed OS Template? - Top


Note. Please make sure to change the password after logged in.

9. Can I upgrade my account if I need to? - Top

Yes. You can upgrade your account at anytime. You will pay the difference between your current account and your new account. There are no extra fees involved in upgrading.

10. How long does it take to set up a new account? - Top

New accounts are guaranteed to be set up within 48 hours from the time we receive your order.

11. What is TCL's DNS information? - Top

The following is TCL's DNS information. You can use this when registering a new domain name or modifying an existing domain name.

12. Do you offer Internet access? - Top

No, you will need local Internet access in order to access your website and retrieve e-mail from your account.

13. How is billing handled? - Top
