Fair Use Policy (FUP)

The use of Tonga Cable Limited’s (TCL) products and services are governed by a Fair Use Policy, stated here, which covers the fair use of bandwidth and other resources on the hosting plans, where there is an indication of “unmetered” data transfer.

I. Bandwidth (data transfer)

TCL provides unmetered data on its Web Hosting services and offer generous fair use of data transfer. Data transfer covers bandwidth for both domestic and international data transfer per month. This unmetered bandwidth provides customers with unlimited data transfer per month as they wish to use without any additional charge.

Should TCL deem that a customer is abusing the fair use of the bandwidth and causes interference with other users, TCL will suspend the customer’s account and notify the customer. If an agreement cannot be reached, TCL reserves the right to permanently disconnect the customer’s account.

II. Other Resources

TCL provides Email accounts and MySQL databases on its web hosting plans. If TCL finds that a customer is abusing this feature, TCL will suspend the customer’s account and notify the customer. If an agreement cannot be reached, TCL reserves the right to permanently disconnect the customer’s account.

III. General

Tonga Cable reserves the right to add or modify the terms presented here without any notice. The terms bandwidth and data transfer are used interchangeably.
